  4. spring treatment with colloidal sulfur also helps from the kidney tick, but, unfortunately, this remedy will not cope with ticks in one year, you can first reduce their colony, and later get rid of them altogether, etc.

At the expense of pruning currants in the spring, we can say briefly. In order to slightly rejuvenate the bush, it is necessary to cut 3-5 year old shoots under the root of black currant every spring and 5-7 year old ones - from red and white.
